Product Trainee Program
Ready to build the future of fintech on an European scale? If you're looking for a career where business, technology and customer value come together, we'd love to hear from you.
Product Trainee Program - Borås
Build the products behind modern banking.
Are you curious about how digital products are built? Do you enjoy solving problems, understanding how things work, and collaborating with different people to create better customer experiences?
At Avarda, we’re looking for some ambitious graduates and/or early-career professionals to join our 18-month Product Trainee Program in Borås.
From your first day, you'll become part of a real product team, working alongside experienced Product Managers, engineers, designers and business specialists. You'll learn-by-doing whilst still contributing to meaningful work, take ownership of real initiatives, and gradually grow into the role of a junior Product Manager with the guidance of an experienced mentor.
Throughout the program you'll build a broad understanding of modern product development in a fintech environment while developing the skills needed to lead products from idea to implementation.
In Borås you can join one of two tracks. Apply and tell us which one fits you best:
Track: Product Lifecycle & Servicing
Every successful product needs to evolve long after launch. In this track, you'll learn how products are operated, improved and maintained throughout their lifecycle.
You'll work with customer servicing, operational processes, regulatory requirements, back-office tooling and system integrations that ensure our products continue to deliver value every day. Together with Product Managers, Operations, Compliance and Engineering, you'll help improve end-to-end customer journeys while gaining a deep understanding of how financial products are managed in production.
This track is a great fit if you:
Enjoy understanding how processes work and how they can be improved.
Like structure, documentation and solving operational challenges.
Are curious about how regulations, customer needs and technology come together.
Want to understand the "why" behind business processes—not just how they work.
Track: Core Banking & Payments
If you're fascinated by the technology that powers financial services, this track places you at the heart of our banking platform.
You'll learn how payment infrastructure, ledger management and core banking capabilities support every customer interaction. Working closely with engineering teams and externa providers, you'll gain insight into technical product management, complex system dependencies and the critical capabilities that keep modern banking running.
This track is especially suited if you:
Enjoy solving technical and analytical problems.
Are interested in financial infrastructure, payment systems or software platforms.
Appreciate precision, reliability and scalable solutions.
Want to collaborate closely with engineers while helping shape technical product direction.
Who you are
We're far more interested in your mindset and potential than whether you've done this before.
You'll probably thrive here if you:
Are naturally curious and enjoy learning new things. You want to understand the why, and you're comfortable when things are complex or evolving.
Like understanding how systems, businesses and people fit together.
Think critically and enjoy solving problems from different perspectives. You weigh trade-offs and challenge ideas constructively rather than settling for the obvious answer.
Take ownership and enjoy turning ideas into action. You drive things forward and follow through without being chased.
Communicate clearly in English and enjoy collaborating with others.
Are comfortable working in an environment where you'll continuously learn and develop. happy to do what's needed, focused on outcomes over status.
You're genuinely interested in digital products and how they create value for customers and the business.
Nice to have
Some exposure to AI tools and AI-assisted ways of working.
APIs, digital platforms or software development.
Business analysis, product development or process improvement.
You're a recent graduate or early in your career. Your degree could be within business, economics, engineering, computer science, information systems, product development or another relevant field. What matters most is your curiosity, drive and willingness to learn.
What we offer
A 18-month structured development program.
A home team and a dedicated mentor with continuous coaching throughout the program

Structured cross-domain exposure across our product platform.
