Group Controller
As Group Controller, you are involved in several processes in the finance department and report directly to the Head of Group Controlling & Investor Relations. Your area of responsibility for the processes you are involved in is primarily focused on Controlling of our Ecommerce Solutions segment.
Key Responsibilities:
Internal Reporting
- Involved in the development of the process of preparing and quality-assuring financial reports to ensure accuracy and alignment with the company's goals and strategies: Segment, Market, Brand.
- Involved in the process of the Group's internal pricing:
- Allocation of interest costs and other shared expenses.
- Allocation documents between headquarters, branches and subsidiaries.
- Documentation of the Group's internal pricing models.
Monthly Closing
Involved in the monthly financial closing process with a focus on:
- Accrued costs.
- Preparation of balance sheets and income statements (internal) to ensure transparent reporting and consistency.
- Conducting a thorough variance analysis on Ecommerce Solutions markets to identify potential deviations from the budget and previous periods.
- Analysis and reporting of financial key performance indicators to evaluate the company's financial performance and identify areas for improvement and efficiency.
- Implement measures based on the analyses to ensure that financial goals are achieved.
- Communicate results and recommendations to management, country managers, and cost center responsibilities.
Financial Forecasting
Participate in the financial forecasting process to identify future trends and challenges to facilitate proactive decision-making. Also, evaluate and adjust forecasts. All segments and countries.
Budget/Budget Monitoring
Participate in the budget and budget monitoring process to ensure that the budget follows the company's overall strategy and financial goals. Identify and manage any deviations and take actions to achieve the set financial goals.
Financial Analyses
Involved in the process of analyzing in-depth financial data to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency. Proactively provide insights and advice to optimize the business regarding Ecommerce Solutions.
Other Duties
Participate in various projects:
- Accounting principles.
- Group-wide projects.
Qualifications and Experience:
A qualification is a Bachelor or Msc in Business and Economics. 5-10 years of experience within Audit or Finance Industry. The position requires advanced analyctical skills as well as strong communication skills. The individual is used to work in teams and projects with tight deadlines and possess good knowledge in Excel and potentially other BI tools.
